Okay now the inside. There is lots of Gatorade, soy milk, berries (thanks to all my berries that I got earlier this week) and lots of veggies.
Then the door. Yes too many condiments. We actually don't use half of them. I should really go through and throw some out. But you can see my flax seed there, lemon and lime juice, and sugar free jam.
Okay I showed you mine, now show me yours and you need to answer the following:
1- A few things you like in there - I love all the berries in there right now and I love G2 Gatorade
2 - What you can't live without - my G2 Gatorade....it comes with me to the gym everyday
3 - What you should live without that is in there - I should get rid of the salad dressing .....I really don't use them but I just hate throwing stuff out that is not spoiled
4 - What I wish was in there - Chobani Greek yogurt that I keep hearing about. I still have not found it in any stores here. Also leftover homemade pizza is always so yummy, I wished that was in there too!
Okay that was fun but now to my day. So I had a bunch of paperwork to do so I decided to do some in the morning and then some after the gym in the afternoon. I originally had 6 miles planned but that turned into 4 miles since I was lacking time. I wanted to get in upper body and legs today since I did no weights yesterday and I won't get much workout time this weekend so my mileage took the hit. But I had a great leg workout so all is good.
So after I picked up my daughter from school we headed to a new nut free/gluten free store at the other end of town. DH is still away so no need to worry about dinner for all of us so I decided this would be a great time to go that way. It is called Nut 'n Gluten......its in Vaughan, next to Vaughan Mills, incase anyone from the area is interested.

The store definately has more gluten free items than nut free items but I did buy a few items.
I got Sunflower Butter, Quinoa Puffs (I had never seen these but I am thinking wouldn't they be great in homemade garnola bars), Brown Rice Chips and Organic Cinnamon Apple Chips. I will let you all know how everything was once we try it.
Not sure I am glad its the weekend. Its a busy one for me. Saturday my daughter has dance in the morning and her gymnastics Demo Rumble in the afternoon. Once home we need to finish off some fathers day and grandfather day gifts and Sunday we are having a BBQ/Pool Party for dad and granddad here....party, party!
So what are you all up to this weekend? Doing anything special for the dad in your life?
I have a ton of condiments too. They are always too irresistible to pass up at the store aren't they. Hope you have a great BBQ/Pool Party. Sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteThat nut/gluten free store sounds great! I'm definitely going to have to visit it. I'm always on the hunt for new nut-free products.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the BBQ/pool party. My family is doing the same thing to celebrate! :)
No Chobani?? That's such a bummer. They need to get with the program and get some to you! :)
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA, you don't wanna know what is in my fridge. Runner's Nightmares. lol. Left over pizza, and lots of bad stuff. lol. The only good thing in there is Gatorade. Today, I am testing out the Pro series Gatorade 1 with 82 grams of carbs for my long run today. I have tried the G3s out already and they are awesome recovery drink with protein. I also have lots of good fruit in there too. I have tried that greek yogurt and ended up convulsing. I simply hate it. Not for everyone I guess. Take care, as I go and clean out my fridge. lol
ReplyDeleteI cannot drink g2, I have to drink the regular gatorade, especially after running or before running because the g2 doesn't supply enough calories or carbohydrates to give energy to my running. But it's definitely a really good drink just for kids or people who just want something with taste but not a lot of added stuff like massive calories. :) By the way your fridge looks awesome.
